Science Fair

Wyatt has his first science fair coming up, so this past weekend we learned about the scientific method and did a family fingerprinting experiment. Here are some photos of that experiment.

LET'S PLAY CATCH UP!

It's been awhile. I am super addicted to Facebook and Instagram so if you aren't on there, these will be new for you. If you are, then sorry, these are probably going to be repeats. :)
We are building a shed in the backyard, and as usual, Jay is going above and beyond and building a cupola (sp?) for it. Which is probably why I love him, even if he stresses out about it and wreaks havoc in our garage, which of course is too small. Wyatt has been spending a week here and there with his grandparents and is currently with Grandma Judy visiting Niagara Falls today. He was at Great Wolf Lodge in Canada yesterday. In 2 weeks he will be in Vermont with my parents and over the 4th of July he spent a week with Papa Jerry and Grandma Sheila and his cousins Jack and Jaysen.
I have been working on some personal development and reading a lot about positive energy and erasing negativity and in June I went to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Young Living Essential Oils International Convention. It was super fun and helpful and I got to see Ian and his family!

Well, not really, I just find it super easy to post on Facebook. But don't we all? Except you Miss Rosemary. ;)

So for those of you NOT into Facebook, here are a few shots of our winter (if you can call it that) so far.

Tree Trimming and other Shenanigans

Elena is obsessed with Star Wars. So is Wyatt. Someone left us a Quidditch broom on our stoop for Wyatt and we don't know who. The kids are fighting over a little 3 inch Luke Skywalker figurine. We cut down and trimmed our tree. We built a real gingerbread house this year. It was exhausting because I didn't have the real tubes for putting in the royal icing so I got it all over myself. Ralph the Elf has come back and Wyatt writes him letters. Elena likes eating sushi

with chopsticks.

So it's been a great November. We have some funny kids. Elena thoroughly enjoyed her first Carousel ride at the mall, the kids love to pose, Wyatt has discovered Star Wars and movie making and Elena apparently can fall asleep sitting  up. Enjoy!

Facebook and Negligent Posting here

Yes, well it's no excuse really, well it is, I am on Facebook a lot and just post pics there, but will try to get you all caught up....
School started. Wyatt is doing well. First Grade. It's now November. 2 months in. We skipped the NY State fair, but we did go to Vermont. Wyatt had a 6th birthday- Harry Potter themed. Everything these days is about Harry Potter. The kids dressed up as Harry Potter and Hedwig (Harry's owl) for Halloween. We went to Ithaca for their Wizarding World event in which everything was Harry Potter themed. It was awesome. I got to wear my red and black striped stockings all day!!!
