We had our holiday party last night. There were lots of kids. I think I counted 14 plus a teenager. It was a tad bit insane, but the house stood up to the abuse. Luckily. Here are a couple photos.

The Christmas Spirit

This was a very busy weekend. We made like a thousand cookies with Chris, Liz and Mary; we went for a hike up Tinker Falls and to the Hang-glider spot in Labrador Hollow; we picked out and cut down our Christmas tree; I stained the door in preparation for our Holiday party; we went out to lunch, and THEN we decorated our tree. I am exhausted, a little bit (ok, maybe a LOT cranky), and Wyatt is finally in bed. Have a look at the photos. :)

Christmas!

So, let's see....what have we been doing today....well, we added a new addition. Ralph the Christmas Elf. We painted salt dough ornaments with Betsy AND we went to the story time at the library and made funny bunny hats. See for yourself.

Gingerbread House

Today we built a gingerbread house. Messy, messy work. I figured out how to bypass the over 1 GB limit for photos on google, but don't tell them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So we had a lovely thanksgiving and hope you all did too. We had some friends and family over, lots of wine and turkey, and some birthday ice cream cake too. I was royally spoiled for my birthday. I received a Kindle Fire HD AND a new camera! It is a Panasonic Lumix  DMC-LX5. I am not sure who was more excited about these new gadgets. Unfortunately, I can't upload photos anymore because I have exceeded my Picasa storage limits, so I have to figure out how to remedy that.

Halloween!

Wyatt was totally into trick or treating this year. And so was his mommy. We had a blast. I think he ran the entire way. We weren't very good at waiting for Kyle and Betsy to catch up. I think we might have to trick or treat by ourselves next year because we were too fast!
