Our Little Picasso

Today we went to a Rain Barrel Workshop and got a free Rain Barrel. Wyatt got to paint it. If you walk by the building in downtown Syracuse that we painted it next to, you can see his handprint. oops.

Reading is so much work!

On the way back from Chris and Liz's farm, Wyatt did a little light reading....it was exhausting.

Kate's Birthday

We were invited to my co-worker's daughter's birthday party. Kate turned 4 and had a birthday party at this place with bounce houses. Wyatt was smiling from ear to ear the entire time and was climbing up ladders and sliding down slides I didn't think he could do. He's a little mountain goat.

Blueberries!

Wyatt and I went blueberry picking today. We only picked $3.40 worth as his highness announced 30 minutes in that we were"All Done". He was full, apparently. It was hot though.....

ZooTime with Grandma Judy

Sunday morning Judy and I took Wyatt to the zoo before it got unbearably hot.
Here are some pictures. It was pretty cute watching him walk around side by side with Grandma.

Buffalo Bound

Saturday morning, we decided we hadn't done quite enough vacationing, so we packed up the car with the dog and the boy and headed to see Grandpa Junior and Grandma Dee Dee- Wyatt's great grandparents. He also got to see his Great Aunt Donna from Florida and his Great Aunt Audrey and Great Uncle Alan (who tried to teach him about scotch and cigars....). After that, we went to his Grandpa and Grandma Cole's house to swim and hang out with his cousins Jack and Jaysen. Here are some photos. These boys are gonna be trouble.....especially for Grandpa Jerry and his toys.

July 4th Vacation (or things to make Grandma Judy cringe)

Friday, July 1st started our camping extravaganza. We packed up the truck and headed for Floodwood Road in the St.Regis Canoe area in the Adirondacks. Our first night was a total bust. Buggy and awful. Wyatt looked like Sloth from the Goonies. He got eaten alive. The second night was much better- we fed a duck and went swimming. Sunday morning, we packed up and headed for Vermont. We took the ferry across Lake Champlain and arrived around 1 pm at GrandPA and Grandma's. Monday, we went down to Randolph for the 4th of July parade. A huge hit. Tons of tractors. Monday night, Wyatt rode a horse (Cody) and loved it. The rest of the time in Vermont was spent going to the barn to see the Chickens and the Horses. We went swimming in a river with Sara and Larry and Ella and Ethan. We chased Cheyanne around and around the kitchen. We visited GG and Papa Pete everyday we were there. We ate lobster thanks to Wolfie and Lisa. Wyatt learned how to say "Sawyer" and gave everyone kisses and hugs all week long. Wednesday morning, we packed up and headed back to the Adirondacks, this time to Powley-Piseco Road south of Speculator. We got a harrowing tent spot- surrounded by rocks and water, but Wyatt loved it. We went hiking on Thursday up Panther Mountain and then on Friday, we packed up and took a hike up to Good Luck Cliffs off of Route 10. It was very steep and kinda scary, but we made it. We ended up back home at 4pm on Friday night. Here are photos of the week. I will post more in another few posts.
