Happy Halloween!

This evening, Jay took Wyatt trick or treating and they went around the entire block. Jay taught him how to say Trick or Treat and he almost had it. By the time it was my turn to go around the next block, Wyatt was off and running and loving it! He would say "Dat House!" and "Ghost!" and one time we saw a pumpkin carved like Minnie Mouse - I didn't even see it but wyatt yelled "The MOuse!" so we had to go to that house. I was going to walk right on by. He was super polite and said Thank you to everyone and took one piece of candy only- he never tried to take more than one and always picked which one he wanted. He would then put it into his bag, turn around and go "Dat House!" and point to the next one. Tomorrow's walk should be interesting.....

Jack O Lanterns!

After an extremely busy Sunday, Jay and Wyatt carved a "Bider" together. Wyatt and I had carved 3 already, but none as intricate as the spider. We also played in some leaves and went swinging this afternoon.

PREHalloween

We went to Mark and Meredith's for a halloween get together last night. Wyatt choked on a pretzel while dancing and proceeded to vomit all over Jay. They are both fine. Wyatt wore his cookie monster costume to the party and immediately took it off upon entering the door, so luckily he didn't puke all over that. Here are the best photos I could get....my camera is unhealthy and no longer takes adequate indoor shots. Oh and here is one of him earlier in the day modeling his cute Gap shirt that Mitchell picked out for Mya to send to Wyatt for his birthday.

Mary!

so tonight, Liz and Baby Mary came over for a visit, a little wine, and some nachos. Mary of course only drank milk. Wyatt was super cute with her and liked touching her feet and toes. Here is a picture of Mary in her cute little pink skeleton costume.

Carol Baldwin's Race for your Life

This morning, Judy, Michael, Sawyer, Wyatt and I went to watch Chris run a 5K for breast cancer. She has been practicing running all summer. Here is Chris and some photos of Wyatt and us at Thornden Park today. Great Job Chris!

Birthday Bash!

WOW! Thanks everyone for coming to Wyatt's birthday and for all the great gifts! He had such a great day. Thank you Julie for the awesome cake! I could not have decorated it like you did! Here are some photos!

Happy 2nd Birthday Wyatt!

Today Wyatt had cupcakes with his new friends at daycare and then Jay and I took him to Bicycle Alley to get his new push bike! Our friend Eric ordered it for us and put it together and we brought Wyatt into the store. He went right to the bike and pulled it out! We didn't even tell him it was his! Then he picked out an Elmo Red Helmet- it's cool, but no photos yet. Everytime I tried to take a photo he took it off. Then, we went to Wegman's and let him pick out which cake he wanted. If Jay hadn't been with me, I probably would have bought him the giant Elmo or Mickey Mouse balloon, but I didn't. Jay cooked us a spaghetti dinner while we went to show She-She the new bike. It was a great night. Here are some photos! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Wy and Chey at 2

Here are some pics of Wyatt and Cheyanne from this past weekend. They are super cute. Cheyanne is wicked smart. She can count to 20 and say lots of funny things. Wyatt may not say as many things yet, but he's getting funnier and funnier.

Vermont Trip

So not much to see here folks. We visited with the family and Wyatt got some presents for his birthday. He had a great time with Ethan - they chased each other back and forth from GiGi's kitchen to her bedroom with Sawyer chasing them. It was quite comical, especially when Grandpa (who can't hear anything) said that it was fine until all the yelling started.

King of the Wood Pile

Jay and I were stacking wood and we turned around to see Grandpa Michael, who was presumably watching Wyatt, watching Wyatt climb to the top of the wood pile. No one was injured in the photographing of this event.

Apple Festival

Wyatt went with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Michael to the Apple Fest in Lafayette on Saturday. He had a blast. Rode rides, went on a horse drawn carriage ride, ate apple pancakes, stole his first apple donut, and climbed tractors. His perfect day.

Big Trucks and a Visit With Mary

So this morning, after playing with Miss Betsy, we drove some freshly made mac n cheese out to Liz and Chris and new baby Mary. Mary is almost 2 weeks old. Liz and Chris are tired and hungry. Wyatt and I cheered them up and ate some pickles and jelly beans, then went outside for a walk. We walked down the road a bit, then up into the field, checked out the tractor and the chickens, then had a few more jelly beans. After the visit, we drove out to Marcellus to meet up with Karen and Jonah and Colden to go to the Sauder's quarry to see the big trucks. We rode the yellow school bus into the quarry, got some free apples, and then got really dirty in a sand pile and jumped in some puddles. The highlight was the yellow bus ride. Oh and when Wyatt dropped his apple on the bus on the way back to the car, I told him the bus was hungry and ate his apple, so all the way home I kept hearing from the back seat- Mama, APPLE! Bus!!! APPle Bus! Oops. oh well. Busses now eat Apples everyone. Don't make a liar out of Wyatt's mama.

Canterino/Howe Pumpkin Picking Party

Today, Saturday, we went to Groton, NY and picked some pumpkins, pressed some apples into cider, saw some cows, and went on a hayride. It was at best 45 degrees and constantly drizzling, but man, did we have fun.
