The Help

I should have known that ripping paper off the wall would be a fun activity for a 2 year old. He is also an aspiring photographer. He does a pretty good job of capturing the images too. He has a bit of a cold and rattle in his chest the past couple of days, so we'll see how he is tomorrow. He may stay home with Daddy if he isn't any better.

Tractors! Year 2.

Today we went out in the only blizzard of the season to look at tractors. The Farm and Tractor show was at the NY State Fairgrounds today. We had free tickets, thanks to Bud. Bud has old tractors that he fixes up. He also works with me at NYSDOT. Bud probably doesn't realize it, but Wyatt and I have plans to invade his tractor space this spring....stay tuned for those photos. (Note: Bud sometimes reads this blog). So enjoy the photos....there is a distinct recurring theme. Oh, and for fun, go back to Feb 25 2011 and look at Wyatt and the tractors then.

A little Bit of Snow

Wyatt's new favorite saying is "a little bit". Everything is a little bit. Therefore, today, we found a little bit of snow so we went sledding. As a bonus, it was also snowy. Here are some photos. Note my new hair cut.

Weekend Fun

Wyatt's weekend started out with an evening with Boppy (a.k.a Betsy) and then we went to the MOST on Saturday morning and then our friends Erik and Janine came to visit (Wyatt insisted on calling Janine Gamma....which was quite odd, but logically I guess women who spend the night here are usually called Gamma...so....it was rather embarassing to explain to poor Janine.....) Anyways, Saturday night he went over to Boppy's for dinner while we went out for dinner as adults, and then Sunday, we went out to Liz and Chris and Mary's, but Wyatt referred to it as the "chickens house" because they have chickens. We collected 3 eggs and some old honeycomb from their attic. It was quite fun. Wyatt was really cute with Mary, who is 5 months old tomorrow. He kept giving her kisses and tickling her and would do what we do with babies- meaning go up to their faces and make little funny noises and shake his head and smile. It was adorable. Here are a couple of pictures of Wyatt and Boppy. I didn't catch any of him and Mary. Oh, Wyatt took the one of Betsy all by himself.

My boys and AFHV

Wyatt is definitely his father's son. The two of them curl up and giggle uproariously to America's Funniest Home Videos whenever possible.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wyatt and I surprised Jay tonight with homemade Valentine's Day cookies. Once they were frosted with all the colors that Wyatt made me make for them, we decorated them a bit. Wyatt directed me as to who was lucky enough to get one. Enjoy the photos!

Jaysen's 2nd Birthday

Waffle Breakfast.

Cake!

Jaysen and his new plasma car.

The best I could get of the 2 hams and the camera shy guy before he jumped off the new toy box.

These are the hams.

The 2 peas in a pod.

2 peas and a Gamma.
This weekend we went to Aunt Michelle and Uncle Justin's house for Jaysen's 2nd birthday. We had lots of fun and we have the photos to prove it! We saw Papa and Gamma and we all went out to breakfast together Sunday morning. Wyatt says that Barney says together and share. (I asked him what I should say we did this weekend. I guess that is a pretty good answer as the boys all shared their toys and played together). Jack and Wyatt are definitely 2 peas in a pod- they both love puzzles.

What the world is like to a 2 year old

Wyatt is increasingly less and less photogenic. He is like his mother and prefers to TAKE the photos. Here are his first ones.....
