Red Clock

Wyatt has been asking for a red clock for awhile now. I am not sure what his fascination is with them, but he wanted one. I have been trying to put it off, mostly because I hadn't seen a RED one, but today, when we walked into Bed Bath and Beyond for a stool (we only have 2 and I am sick of eating standing up...) well, Wyatt found a red clock. and not just any Red clock, a Red BIRDS HAVE EYES Clock. I couldn't say no. I am such a sucker, but the sheer look of joy on his face was worth it.

Fireworks and Baseball!

Friday night, Joanna, Jeremy, Jay, Wyatt and I went to the Sky Chiefs game. No bounce house this year...thank goodness. And NO DIAPERS EITHER! No accidents, but a lot of trying.  Wyatt enjoyed the game, mostly due to the ice cream and popcorn. After the game, which they won by the way, there were fireworks! Wyatt loved them so much that the first thing he said Saturday morning when he woke up was "That was fun going to the baseball game. I liked the fireworks."

The Trifecta Party and Father's Day

This weekend was a fun weekend at "Jack's House" as Wyatt refers to it. Uncle Justin (sometimes referred to as Uncle Jesse and vice versa....still a little confusing to Wyatt as to which one is which, although the Spongebob shirt may help - see photo below) and Aunt Michelle and Jaysen apparently do not live at the house, just Jack. Anyways, the weekend was full of fun activities and concluded with a nice hike at Clark Reservation and a BBQ with the Kwasnowskis. Enjoy the photos. There are no words for some of them. You'll understand why when you see them.

Jaysen, Jack, Wyatt in the back of our truck. We took them to Papa and Grandma Sheila's house to go swimming. Apparently, I too was asleep in the truck until Jay woke me up.

Thankfully, his legs aren't long enough yet. Don't worry Grandma Judy- he's just sitting in it.

Some explanation is necessary, but I don't have one. Justin turned 30 and apparently thought it time to show off his legs, maybe. AJ was wearing jean cut off shorts as well with little hearts cut out of the back pockets. Note the tan lines. Oh, and he is wearing a Spongebob t-shirt. I can't make this up people.

Oh boy. About midnight on Saturday.

Mountain goat.

Make that Rock Climbing Mountain goat.

How many monkeys in the tree?

Hiking is exhausting.

My mom sent me this photo today of Cheyanne, Wyatt, and Ella. It's too cute not to share! (be sure to note the finger...he loves to torment her!)

Stepping Stone Project

Today, while the front of our house was being ripped apart by Papa and Daddy, Grandma Sheila, Wyatt and I made a stepping stone. Here are the photos! (We got rained out from strawberry picking....)

The Horse Whisperer

My mom is calling Wyatt the Horse Whisperer because he got right back on the day after Montana nipped him and knocked him over. Wyatt is still talking about it and wants to ride him again. So, Mom sent me a picture of the 2 of us on Montana the day after the "incident".

In other news, of which I have no photos, Wyatt and Betsy and I went to the MOST's rocket launch event for all of 45 minutes on Saturday. It was our first outing just the three of us and went off without a hitch. The event was a NASA grant and the MOST science museum sponsoring middle school and high school students. They gave them the supplies to build rockets, and then had a big event where all the rockets went off. Each rocket was 4-5 feet tall, so the kids really go to see a "rocketship" and watch it go up into the air and then fall down again with a parachute. It was fun and they got free balsam wood gliders, so it was a win-win.
