Crazy Crazy Hectic Week!

So as many of you know we had quite the week. Elena got an infection on her little bottom and it wouldn't go away or come to the top, so she had to have surgery to have it lanced, which required anesthesia and a night at Golisano's Children's Hospital. She had a great time because she is such a social butterfly and thought everything was terribly interesting. She hardly slept! We walked and walked and walked......Grandma Judy came on Friday to escort Daddy and kids to Family fun night at the Latin School and I went to the wine crawl with Ginger and Gilligan and I was dressed as Mary Ann. Saturday, Wyatt and friend Max went to a birthday party at Billy Beez at the mall and Elena had a fall photo shoot. Sunday, Wyatt had another birthday party at Sky Zone, a wall to wall trampoline place. Elena will be out of daycare all week until her drain is removed. I can't wait till November. It will have to be easier than October!

Wyatt's 5th Birthday Party

well it has been the week of Wyatt. Started last Saturday and continued to cupcakes at school on Friday and then a Halloween themed birthday party on Saturday afternoon and then, as soon as Ninja Turtles is over, Wyatt, Max and I are off to Chuck E. Cheese's. Elena and Grandma Judy have elected to stay home for this adventure as Elena is a bit under the weather.  Wyatt's birthday cake was designed by him. We looked online at some photos, but then combined a few ideas to come up with the final design! He got some legos, some ninja turtle things, some spy gear, a sword, a rocket building kit, and some art supplies. He had a great time! 

Beginning of Birthday Week...

This past weekend Wyatt's cousins and grandma sheila and Papa Jerry came out for a visit and to help begin Wyatt's week long birthday celebration! Saturday, Sheila and I took the boys to the MOST and Jerry and Jay took Elena for a drive/nap to check out their hunting grounds for this upcoming weekend. Grandma Sheila made lego cupcakes! Jaysen was quite sad to leave, so we will have to start having some overnights....Monday was a holiday for some of us, so I ended up with a few boys at the house.... Friday will be cupcakes at school and a party on Saturday...Sunday, who knows!

On Skaneateles lake with Mr. and Mrs. Fishy

Today we were invited out to a boat ride on Skaneateles Lake with our neighbors Bob and Deb, known to Wyatt as Mr. and Mrs. Fishy because they have fish in their backyard pond. Elena loved it! she is so not like her brother....his first boat ride was pure misery. Here are a few photos from the day. Oh and Elena can now walk behind her walker. Apples!

Wyatt, Elena and I went apple picking today with Mrs. Fishy across the street. (she is so named because well, they have little fish in their backyard pond so Wyatt always called them the Fishies, so hence she is Mrs. Fishy still....) It was a really nice morning and Wyatt even got to see Elsa and Anna from Frozen. I didn't get any photos of that...we didn't want to wait in line for an hour just for him to get all shy. He was perfectly content to climb to the top of the slide to see them from there.

Sunny Sunday

So today we went for a little hike at Green Lakes. It was a lovely day for whining 4 year old Kindergartner....is that the right spelling of that? I mean I could google it, but that would require way more time....
